Volunteers Needed: Become a Virtual WIGUP Club French Mentor!

CPF is looking for volunteers to act as virtual French Mentors for children enrolled in our WIGUP Club pilot program.

All kids in the WIGUP Club will have access to WIGUP.tv, a platform that allows children aged 9-14 to unearth their uniqueness while using the French language. WIGUP.tv is a social network that allows students to have secure access to more than 2000 inspiring videos, pictures, and articles that help develop their critical thinking skills. In the WIGUP program, Mentors will help the kids navigate the WIGUP.tv platform and help them with their French projects that they will eventually upload onto the website for all to engage with.

Mentors will help children by speaking French, do French activities and games with them, and provide tech support for the WIGUP projects and website. We are recruiting volunteers who can dedicate 1.5 to 2 hours per week (minimum) for our pilot program. Orientation and training is provided. We are looking to recruit volunteers for January-June 2022.
