According to a 2010 survey by Statistics Canada, 45% of people who don’t volunteer are not involved with an organization – simply because no one asks them to.
So we at CPF are asking you to come volunteer with us!
Volunteers are the key to our success. Without them, we wouldn’t be able to carry out our mission of giving young people the opportunity to learn both of Canada’s official languages.
Whether joining your local CPF chapter, helping out with youth activities, reaching other parents through information sessions or doing advocacy work, there’s always something for everyone.
The benefits of becoming a CPF volunteer!
- Completing required community service hours for high school graduation;
- completing community service hours, internship hours, or education hours for university;
- engaging your company or work team;
- giving back to your community;
- inspiring a new generation of bilingual Canadians;
- maintaining your French or English;
- meeting new people and/or networking with likeminded individuals across the country;
- and, contributing to the linguistic duality of Canada.
