Canadian Parents for French Alberta was disappointed to hear of the adjustment to K-12 funding that was recently
announced by the provincial government. These cuts will inevitably mean the loss of support staff such as educational assistants. Educational assistants do so much more than work with students that have unique needs, they form an essential part of our education system.

CPF Alberta wrote an open letter to the Minister of Education that can be read HERE.

We would also like to take this opportunity to encourage all individuals to sign this petition, calling on the provincial government to stop defunding education.

CPF Alberta thanks you in advance for your support, together we can make a difference in supporting all of Alberta’s students.
