CPF AB and Roger Dallaire have partnered to create “C’est un petit monde – It’s a small world” in hopes of helping elementary students explore the cultural diversity across our amazing country. Roger will spin us around a brief world tour to highlight all the different countries that speak French followed by some time travel to help students view and understand the evolution of the French language and Francophone culture in Canada. We’ll explore the importance of the indigenous peoples who shared their country and wisdom with the French-speaking families who populated the west through to how the new generation of French families are keeping their traditions alive today.
This opportunity encourages elementary schools to sign up their classes to travel the world with Franco-Albertan storyteller Roger Dallaire! Roger loves to tell stories based on true events and through his manner of speech, his accordion playing and his way of life, Roger Dallaire transports us into the past.
Roger Dallaire, born in Saint-Paul, Alberta, is a proud Franco-Albertan whose roots seem to go back all the way to the fur traders, some 400 years ago.
Roger will be touring Alberta schools and presenting In-Person or Virtually (if pandemic demands). If your school or designated classroom requires a virtual presentation or Alberta legislations change, Roger will still be performing at your booked time virtually for the same cost.

- Half-Day, $850
- Show/workshop: 3 cohorts – 45 minutes/cohort
- Lunch breaks may have to be adjusted at your school
- Full Day $1200
- Show: up to 10 cohorts – 30 minutes/cohort
- Show/workshop: 6 cohorts – 45 minutes /cohort
