Role Information:
CPF Alberta is calling for individuals to serve on it’s Provincial Board of Directors. We are seeking those committed to furthering bilingualism and promoting opportunities for youth to learn and use French.

Key Qualities:
Candidates must be self-directed, good at problem solving, value life-long learning and have basic knowledge of Alberta’s French second language education system and programs.

Key Responsibilities:
The time commitment will vary based on the Board’s needs.  There are usually 5-6 board meetings per year, with two (2) being in-person and the remainder being virtual.  Reasonable travel expenses are covered for travel.  Also anticipate an additional 2-4 additional meetings per year for board committee work.

Any current CPF member can nominate another person as a candidate or nominate themselves. If you would like to nominate someone, please ensure that you have their agreement prior to submission. Please forward all nominations to our Nomination Committee at:  mtryon@ab.cpf.ca
